March 22, 2017: World Water Day Symposium
The US Green Building Council-LA Inland Empire Branch invites you to discuss: Is conservation worth it in a “post-drought” environment? Towards Net Zero Water in Southern California. 5pm: Networking, appetizers, site tour; 6-8pm: Panel discussion. Located at Chino Water Conservation District in Montclair.

March 24-26, 2017: AEOE Statewide Spring Conference
The California Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education presents 60+ environmental education workshops, keynote address, music, entertainment, exhibitors, job fair, and networking! Registration includes the conference, 5 meals and lodging or camping in La Honda, California. Call for presenters deadline February 3, 2017.

March 26, 2017: NICHOLAS THALASINOS HEALING GROVE MEMORIAL
This Healing Grove Memorial will be planted in honor of Nicholas Thalasinos whose life was tragically cut short with 13 others of our community on December 2, 2015.

March 27, 2017: Digging Deeper into NGSS with Informal Educational Organizations
Join us for Session 3 of the NGSS Mini-Series for Informal Educational Organizations. Learn about the California Environmental Principles and Concepts (EP&C). Explore how environmental literacy is woven throughout the newly adopted California Science Framework and the California History-Social Science Framework. Experience hands-on learning bringing science and history/social science together. Network with other Informal Learning Organizations and learn about Meet and Greet opportunities in partnership with the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA). Attendance at previous sessions not required.

April 29 & 30, 2017: Chino Hills State Park Educator OPEN HOUSE
Come visit Chino Hills State Park Discovery Center on Saturday and Sunday April 29th and 30th from 10-4. Educators attending our open house will receive a free parking pass for the day*. Experience our program stations first-hand and take home a free Chino Hills State park Lesson Plan for your classroom.

April 29, 2017: iCreate Family Fair
Come join us for a variety of hands-on activities showcasing local students and their amazing projects using the application of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) theories. Enjoy activities like Robotics, Art, Building Towers and meet Joel Greene- host of TV’s Curiosity Quest! Fair will be on the CSUSB campus.

June 10, 2017: Pollination Festival
Come join us on June 10th for the first SOCal PolliNATION Festival!  This FREE event strives to raise awareness of pollinator declines and to raise funds for pollinator educational programming and pollinator sanctuaries.
